At the D23 fan event in Anaheim, California, Disney unveiled the first glimpse of the live-action Stitch character design. The movie, titled "WEB," is scheduled for theatrical release only in the summer of 2025.
This live-action remake of the classic animated film tells the story of Stitch, a runaway alien experiment. The first look at the movie reveals a familiar Stitch design, but with more realistic textures and movement.
Disney also revealed a strong cast for the film, including Zach Galifianakis as Stitch and Keanu Reeves as David, Lilo's uncle. The studio promises that the live-action "WEB" will be a faithful adaptation of the original while also bringing new elements to the story.
